Payroll accounting using hourly rates

Standard payroll accounting in GigPlaner is carried out according to hours worked. Your staff record all the hours performed in GigPlaner, or straight into the Web App during the event. An hourly rate can be defined for each employee and adjusted for each event if required. All working hours, less breaks taken, are displayed and totalled in the activity sheet.

Daily rates

When producing statements for daily rates, your staff record their working hours using the same method used for statements for hourly rates. For each day, however, a full daily rate is charged and this rate can be individually defined for each employee. You can also define different amounts for parts of days so that, for example, the first and last days of an event may be charged separately.

Calculation for flat rates

Payroll accounting for flat rates

Statements for flat rates are probably the simplest method of payroll accounting in GigPlaner. In this case, staff do not need to record working hours - once an employee is available and booked, the flat rate is automatically shown on the statement. An extended flat rate calculation can be also activated if required, making it quick and easy to produce a statement, for example, for entire tours. In such cases you can easily record different lump sums with description, quantity and amount, which GigPlaner automatically totals and clearly itemises in the statement.

Combining payroll methods

A standard payroll method is defined in GigPlaner for each employee, but it is always possible to select a different payroll method for individual jobs. GigPlaner thus offers maximum flexibility in producing statements for your events.

Generate invoices from the records submitted by your staff

If you invoice clients for time worked by your staff on an hourly basis, you can use GigPlaner to generate invoices quickly and easily for your clients based on working hours recorded. These include the hours worked by your staff at daily, hourly and lump sum rates separately from the records. It is of course also possible to make these invoices completely anonymous if required.


Recording GPS position

Recording GPS position

In addition to the working hours recorded by the GigPlaner time clock, you can also record an employee's current GPS position. This is an additional means of monitoring, and of proof for staff that their recorded working hours are correct. The time clock in your GigPlaner can thus provide meaningful data in the same way as an on-site time clock, with the difference that the former can be used on any Smartphone and in any location.
